About the Organisation

The Council of Disabled People (CDP) is a charity organisation that exists to promote and realise the interests of disabled people regardless of class, colour, race, sexuality, gender and/or age. The organisation concentrates on removing the barriers that exclude disabled people from taking a full part in the social, political and economic lives of the community in which they live.

ASPIRE Project

The ASPIRE project will provide specialist pre and post employment training and mentoring to disabled people to help them find voluntary work or gain and retain paid employment in Coventry and Warwickshire. Participants will receive mentoring to develop and improve their 'soft' and 'life' skills. This will include confidence building, increased self-esteem and motivation skills, which will support them to develop the life skills required to sustain employment.

About the Opportunity

The Council of Disabled People (CDP) has a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Project Administrator to play a vital role in the future success of the ASPIRE Project.

Based in Coventry, this rewarding position will see you owning the project management processes. Specifically, you will be responsible for allocating resources and scheduling deadlines to ensure goals are achieved within the project's financial boundaries.

CDP is seeking enthusiastic and motivated applicants with practical administrative and office management experience. A proven knowledge of events coordination and the monitoring of grant funded projects will be a distinct advantage.
